Cutting out the bottom of air box

I decided to cut out the bottom of my air box so the cold air going to my radiator is also gonna feed my motor, just like the all the overpriced cold air kits. What tool should i use i havent looked at it very closely yet but would like it to be a clean cut even though it out of sight. its gonna be fun constantly cleanin my filter but it should help it breath more especially on the hiway. What tool?

ummmmm.......

try using a dremel tool..... just draw a line where to cut and dont shake when your cutting....... it should be a clean cut..... i think that would be good enough...... i know a friend did that.....

Jig Saw

Dremel is the best. I used a jig saw since I did not have one then sanded it some. Later>>>>>>

I used a cutoff wheel on my bench grinder. It came out real nice.

I scored it with a knife and broke off the plastic with pliers. It wasn't a clean "pretty" break but who the hell is gonna see it!

I used a dremel but I kept having cutting wheels break so I ended up using a different bit that cut pretty rough. Then I just took the sander bit and smoothed it down real nice.
