Exclamation Cutout Wiring

What is the cleanest way to wire up an electric cutout. I know I have to bring back a power and ground wire to it. Do I need to run two wires all the way back from the battery?? Also, where is a good place to mount the switch in an '02 Camaro.

Route the wires through the plug under the rear seat, under the carpet, under console, to the dash. I don't have ASR so I used the ground from the cigarette lighter, then ran a wire under the dash to the radio fuse for power. I bought a convertible bezel cover from the dealer and installed the switch on it.

I mounted my switch to the bracket that holds the driver's seat. ITs on the left side, to turn it on just reach under and there it is. Hidden nicely.

Acceleration Slip Regulation - Traction Control. If you have it you can use the pink wire to the switch for the power connection.

Never mind. I tend to do a bit of tire shredding and never notice the car try to correct it, and there is no light in the cocpit that says I have ASR disabled (I guess it would, as my 2001 Impala did).

Could someone explain this a little more in depth? I understand wiring under the rear seat then to the console but from there I'm kinda at a loss. How do you wire the switch and what wires to tap into?

The electric cut out comes with the switch already wired. The harness (near the switch) will have 2 wires coming from it. One wire goes to a ground, the other to a "switched" power source. Sounds confusing but it's an easy install. I got mine from www.quicktimeperformance.com I had a question when I installed mine, called them, and got great customer service.
