Ok guys so i went outside and measured my exhaust pipe. It measures about 9 inches around. So from that i calculated the diameter to be 2.86. Well this brings be to my question. Do i buy the 3 inch or the 2.5 ? I guess the 3 inch. Its an awful weird pipe size. Some one help

The 3" is what I would go with.

 

Just go with the 3", have the welds built up a bit when you have it installed.

 

Yeah looking back this was a dumb question to ask. 2.5 would take a lot more work to make fit than 3. like you said ill just build some beads up and ill be good

 

The factory pipe is 2.75" outside diameter. A 3" cutout is ~2.87" inside diameter. Works great.
