Curious on Emissions

Ok well im planning on modding my car a bit over the summer but im going to need to pass emissions within the next year. I plan on having Pacesetter Headers and Pacesetter ORYP and Borla Catback, Intake mods,(MAF, LID, TBB, and maybe throttle body), So what do you suggest I do? Will I pass emissions with this setup or no? What can I do to pass? If you think I should take another path feel free to tell me. My options are open as of now.

Thanks.

Get O2 Simulators and put some Cats on the Y-pipe.. also does the Pacesetter headers have a spot for the 2ndary Air pump? Mine didn't, and a SES light = Auto Fail!

without cats you'll never pass....i mean...that is why they are there and what they're testing for.

get some highflow cats off ebay and put them in the Ypipe

May 2004 Hot Rod Magazine states under ls1 donts "Unless your car is approaching the 600-horse mark, the stock throttle body should be just fine. Banish yaks day and night about the supercharged cars he tunes that breathe through the stock throttle body. Bill strope says the same thing about turbocharged cars that come through his shop."

with a 96 and newer car here in chicago, they only check for the ses light to work, and as long as there are no codes you pass. i am thinking of LT's and a y-pipe. in case they check the car with mirrors i was thinking of getting a gutted cat and clamping it or something over the y-pipe for the "appearance" only. i doubt they can tell at least i hope so, Lt's are my next mod
