Coil Packs, Help?

I am attempting to put on my long tubes today and started out with removing the coil packs. I want to remove the drivers side coil pacs as an assembly. I got all the bolts out except the last one under the cowl. The bolt has a bracket assembly covering it that seems to be part of the A.I.R. assembly. I tried to pry it up a little but it is obvious that it won't go over the top of the bolt. Any suggestions? I hate to get stuck this early on. Unfortunately, this is my first time doing any significant work on an LS1 and I would hate to screw it up. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nick

You cant just use a open end wrench to get it? Is it the air assembly, or the power brake booster? You should be able to get it with a wrench.

I can't figure out where the bracket attaches it appears to be AIR. When I pry up on it with a screw driver the AIR assembly moves... I used a socket to get the top bolt off and the bracket is over the top of a stud........?

I ended up pushing it up enough to get my Kershaw locking Needle Nose Pliers underneath it and bent the hell out of it and it eventually came up.

Now the fun of installing these damn headers continues....

Actually if it's the bracket I am thinking of for the AIR system, it is bolted to the back of the head and it's a PITA to get off.
