Clutch or Transmission

Okay, I've had my transmission replaced twice(both covered under my warranty) due to the problem of it kicking me out of third gear(because for a while I was power shifting constantly because I just didn't know any better) now on my third transmission a new problem has arisen(that was immediately apparent but because I didn't want to give it up again I decided to ignore for the time being).

Every once and a while when I go to shift into first gear to start from a stop, it won't allow me to shift into first gear(and possibly the others, I never tried) so I need to reengage the clutch and even then it feels like I have to force it in. This isn't a problem I had before the transmission was replaced(with a rebuilt one). There was also a minor issue of it kicking me out of second gear a few times but that went away after a little bit and it felt like it was because I didn't get it into gear properly and it doesn't do that anymore.

So my question is, does that problem sound like a transmission issue(which is covered under my warranty) or a clutch issue(not covered unless caused by the transmission)?

Car in question is a 2002 Camaro Z28 m6.
