clutch material questions

I would greatly appreciate some advice on which type of clutch kit I should get. What is the difference between the organic/organic surface and the kevlar/organic surface? Is the steel or aluminum flywheel better? I only run my car at the strip about 6 times a year, and this is my daily car. The only other mods I plan to do are cams and 4.10 gears.

I couldn't find this information anywhere. Thanks in advance!

Go with the Mcleod Rev-Lok II!!!!! IMO it's the best clutch setup for our cars!!! It'll hold anything you can throw at it and last a lot longer too!! You can use your stock flywheel or buy mcleod's flywheel. Check out www.thunderracing.com they have the Rev-Lok for like $420. I forgot to mention it's also one of the cheapest.

And since yours is a '98, you'll need to get the gm updated hydraulics. And make sure if it's not already done, that whoever installs the hydraulics, does the drill out mod.

Im so very sad. Im a typical guy

I was thinking about clutches then i wondered where she was from. And thought "Hmmm south lousiana, not a far drive"

Shoot me now before i do something or say something to incriminate myself.

Anyways about the clutch material.

I dont know much about Kevlar other than i heard its not reasonably streetable most of the time. It tends to clatter i believe.

Id probably go with ceramic but like i said i dont know anything about kevlar.
