Clicking sounds underneathe my 00' T/A while shifting from first to second??????

I'm hearing 1 to 2 metalic clicks while shifting from first to second... it sounds like it is comming from the drivers side of the car and almost under my door.. I'm suspecting the springs in my clutch.. but i would like some feedback before i waste any money on anything...any ideas?

Driveshaft. GM's aluminum driveshafts will do that. My 99 SS did it all the time until I replaced the shaft.
