my car has an intermitten problem.every few weeks the "check engine light" comes on and stays on for a few days then goes away.usually lasts 3-5 days.first day it runs ok then by the second day it starts missing and running real rough.hesitates when under any acceleration.then goes like hell.

 

also i have changed plugs, wires,fuel filter,and still does it.i`m sure a censor has gone bad.just hoping for some advice.my mail problem is that i work 6a-6p and it is hard for me to get to a shop.or even to autozone for there "free" diagnostic check.in tampa they only have a tech there till 4:30-5 pm.

 

Check your O2's. pretty common problem.
