Chatter between 1st & 2nd. Normal?

When accelerating (hard or normally) there is a little chatter as soon as the stick grabs on to 2nd. Anyone else hear this in their 6 speed? Is this normal or should I start saving for a Tremec?!

That has happened to me, but on rare occasion and I'm not sure of the cause.

Never hear anything switching to any gear hard or normal. Get it checked.

My 2002 z28 has the same problem. When I shift from 1st to 2nd, it makes this sound like the syn. is out of wack.
