i read somewhere where, but it was recommended that some kind of sealer...permatex type stuff be used on your catback connections I.E from my cats to the Y pipe....the Y pipe to the exhaust, is this necessary....i didnt do it with my loudmouth......i dont think it leaked.....anybody?

 

never heard or used that before and with the temps some of your exhaust parts gets to i daubt tht will help.
