Hello, my question is it worth it to get a aftermarket catback on a stock eqipped SS/WS6? I know they came with a 2.75" pipe and for $600 plus for a extra 1/4" doesn't seem worth it unless your also adding LTs.

idk about $600 for a catback but i got slp LM2 Cat back for only $400 with free shipping..I felt a big defference right away

 

Save your money.

 

Power wise it isnt worth it (3-5hp). The muffler is the restriction in the ws6/ss catback. LT headers, 3" Y pipe, and a highflow muffler will do it for a bolt on car. You will however see bigger gains on a heads/cam car with a full catback.
