Car wont start at random, could it be the alarm solenoid?
About a week ago, the car began not starting at random, I think it has to be something with the alarm because it allows me to turn the accessories on but wont start the car.
I also thought about the starter solenoid but at the same time the car began this, it also flicked the headlamps up/down when I arm/disarm the car.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks

Check your battery terminals. That always fixes the problem for me.

Could be the starter.
If the LS1 has the same type starter on older SBC, the solenoid is in the actual starter case itself [from what I've been told].
When you run headers, the car will start up fine, but the extra heat from the headers that come from them being so close to the starter, makes the solenoid not work [not an EE, don't ask me why :X].
What you can get is a starter shield, to try to keep the heat from the starter, or I've also seen people use a Ford solenoid with it.
Here's a link to the conversion.

Hope this helps, see ya ;D
