Car has 65K miles on, what should I replace?
Car has 65K miles on, what should I replace?
Right now it runs great, but I want to make sure it stays that way. I had the tranny fluid, tranny filter, and coolant replace 20K miles ago, so those should be good for another 10K. I changed the fuel filter myself 10K miles ago, so that is good.
On my list to do is the sparkplugs. I don't know if they are the OEM ones or not, I bought the car with 41K on it. I know I'll need platinum(sp?) plugs, I think I'm going to go with some AC Delcos.
Anything else I should replace while I'm at it?

SFB767, nice car. It has the exact same options as mine.
The main accesory belt has 20k miles on it now, I guess I'll change the a/c belt.
I have a Magnaflow cat-back on it right now and thought about getting long tubes. Unfortunetly, we have to have cats on our cars to pass emissions. So a catted y-pipe is even more $$$. I don't have the cash to drop $800-$1000 on headers. Then I also thought about the computer might need to be reprogrammed too.

Thanks.
I've got the same dilemma too, about the longtubes. I just hate dropping like $400 for a tune. Maybe I'll throw a cam in there with a longtube install so I won't have to pay for a tune down the road.
