Question which car to get?

I really want a car with a V8 in it for weekend driving and to mod out. I'm thinking about getting either a LS1 2002 Camaro SS or 2002 Pontiac Trans Am with Ram Air hood, 2004 Mustang Mach 1 with the 4.8L V8, or even better, a 1998 or newer Corvette Coupe. Which would you guys pick for overall appearance and response to mods?

Not the ford ....... The rest would be up to appearence because they all have the same engine and would have similar responses to mods. Unless you're looking at a Z06.
Camaro SS

Go for the Vette, less weight and better refinement than a f-body, and since its a weekend toy, I'm assuming back seats are not very important to you. And it isn't a stinking ford riding on a 30 year old chassis. Also, the current Vette bodystyle came out in 1997, so a 97 would be the same as a 98 and up.

The Mustang? NO .

The Camaro SS is a more "practical" vehicle, since it's got 4 seats, and is a cheaper, yet has the same engine as the 'Vette. However, that being said, if you've got the money, the 'Vette is definitely a superior car (key points: build quality and handling ) so really, you gotta decide what you'd rather be driving in. They're both great cars .

not too impressed by the SS...i ran a 2002 at the track yesterday and he only pulled a 13.4...i would go with the last of the breed 2002 ta FIREHAWK...the coolest and meanest looking car ever made IMO.

Stay away from the Mach 1 (no bias here) .. any of the LS1's will more than suffice and go vette if you can afford it.
