car is burning a quart of oil every month?

its a 98 camaro with 130+k on it and it is burnig a lot of oil (a quart a month) the car dosent smoke and dosent leak any oil, so what could it be?

its all bolt on and heads and cam.. (its had all the performance parts since 99) and it just started to do this in the past 4 months

Have you pulled your intake lately? I've been having the same problem... my car is a H/C car w/35k miles...

If it just started doing it I would be inclined to suspect blowby, probably from rings. Did the motor get hot? It could also be valve guides. Historically valve guides smoke on startup, rings smoke under hard acceleration. Chances are good that a lot of oil is going through the PCV system. I put a catch can on a while back and am amazed at how much oil it catches.
