After working on my girlfriends 99 z28 for the last two days and getting absolutely nothing accomplished I have decided all Camaro's suck ***. How the hell do you people work on your cars anyways? Two completely rusted bolts that had to be broken to get them off. Two bolts that are completely destroyed and need to be retapped. THIS IS A 99. WTF, my 98 doesnt have anywhere near the amount of rust this car has. How do you people do it? I can't even change the plugs/wires without taking half the engine apart and twisting my arm in ways it doesn't twist. I'm not saying GM did a bad job or this car completely sucks performance wise but do you guys get everything done by mechanics? Just venting, sorry if some of you take it the wrong way.

 

Yea its pretty hard to do anything on these f-bodies even replacing the turn signal light bulb. But I do praise its performance.

 

You should just stop what are you doing before you ruin a perfectly good machine. Us professionals dont like you people bashing our pride and joy. Stop, take it to some one who knows what they are doing, stop trying to impress her. I have no problem working on mine, had the whole thing a part twice already. Face it You su%K

I Love my new Z. I would take it in to the dealership and have anything done on the car. I guess I am have been lucky the guy that works on my car knows everything about these cars. I had a 93 and he satisfied me on everything he did on it. He has patience and Loves these cars too. Find someone who can work on it. Good Luck. The car is a great car.
