Real car yes. made by Chevrolet no. Its like an aftermarket tuner car package. Mecham is the name and he does anything you want to your Z28, TA, or Vette. Anything from scoops and spoilers and hoods, to LS1 engine packages, strokers and head cam stuff. He makes wheels too. Check the link. http://www.mechamperformance.com/

It's really sad when someone takes the famous import "R" symbol and slaps it on a Domestic muscle car...

That car is bad ***!and just because it has a "R" on it makes it look import some people on this board need to grow up.
it just seems like that if your F-body doesn't look stock then nobody likes it

90% of everybodies cars on this site look a like. and if someone makes their car unique or differant it's automaticaly ugly or i don't, i bet if half the people on this site parked their cars in one parking lot you'd see a lot of people looking for their car because they all blend in together and thats sad

Re: The Camaro Z29

you can get more performance for the money instead of adding that "flair".

i DO however like the mecham t/a.

saw a black one in person a few years ago in austin. <- me

no, you would see a lot of people aiming their remotes at the cars to see which chirps.. mine always stands out.. has yellow "WILL RACE FOR PIZZA" on each side..

Re: The Camaro Z29

I like the sleeper look. besides, 9/10 people who spend more on paint, rims, and fiberglass end up being stock under the hood. I prefer to spend my money on go-fast parts, some people prefer to customize the looks of their camaro. Just two different mindsets, neither of which is "better" in my opinion.

LOL for $30,000 you could have the Looks AND their 383 ci package (Probaby just a 346 with a cam so it SOUNDS stroked) + some crappy exhaust, and minor bolt-ons like a pulley. Some brakes, a carbon fiber driveshaft, colorful suspension components, etc.

My thoughts--- I could probably build an identical car with all the HP mods as well for less than 1/2.

I especially like the comment: "The rear end. Looks like an SS/stock mix." Could be partly due to the fact that the spoiler is from a 96-97 SS, and the rest IS stock.
