Buzzing speaker under warranty?
Im kinda partial to the monsoon speakers, and they sound as good as my custom speakers in my beater. The best part is the powerful sound without having to weigh the car down with a sub or two. But anyway, thanks itll be in the dealer this week. And im markin the odometer this time!!
Yes, it is covered under warranty. I had one of mine replaced.
The stock head unit and amp should not be able to blow the stock speakers. For that reason, they are covered.
Now, the speaker may not be blown or damaged. There is supposed to be a couple of small pieces of foam rubber between the speaker grill and the panel. If those pieces are not there (as I have seen on several cars) then the plastic grill will buzz and sound like a blown speaker.
