and 3.73's how do those do for ls1's?

According to this page, it either has 2.73's or 3.23's. I don't think you can tell by looking at the gear selector on the newer cars...

If my tank holds 17 gallons, then there are still four or five gallons in it when the needle hits E. I'm not planning on finding out...

All versions get a larger, 16.8-gallon fuel tank
http://www.wcax.com/global/story.asp?s=2590835

is also where i read, this...

now i know the lt1 fuel pumps were sensitive, but whats the most any of you ls1 owners have put into your tank?

go to LS1tech.com and search piston slap and then search oil consumption to get started on a few things to consider when buying a LS1.

is this pretty common on these cars?

I remember my friend adding a bit of oil to his 02 SS, now that you mention it...

what is piston slap, also I've heard something about warping the disk brakes?

The LS1 had two different tanks. The '98s had smaller tanks than the 99+ cars.

Re: Buying 02 Trans am? what to look for?

is there a way to fix the oil consumption or the piston slap?

still not quite sure what piston slap is...

but if a rebuilt was done, what would solve these two issues?
