2)Gears (dont know what to get, need streetable/highwayable)

3)Powerprogramming/chip (any suggestions?)

of crouse full exhaust, shifter is always nice. do some free mods as well. 3.73's are a good mix of street and highway. a lid for an intake, nitrous isn't bad either. I'm not too much with ls1's, as i have never owned one, but i would think to skip on the power programmer and have the pcm tuned by a good tuner (pcmforless.com) if you really need computer tuning. suspension is a good thing to start with as well, although most of us need that power first. lol

Skip the programmer....If you really feel the need, have it tuned by somebody with LS1-edit who knows what they're doing.

Question Re: building up a stock 01 SS

What kind of cat-back were you thinking of putting on your car?
