build your own CAI?
build your own CAI?
Anyone have a good guide to build a cai like the ssra one? I am thinking about building one if anyone has the dimentions or instructions that would be awesome. Anyone have any proven dyno gains with the ssra system?
Thanks for your help.

And a SSRA won't change anything on the dyno. Good results at the track though.
Re: build your own CAI?
al wasn't it you that found a .10 sec gain from the lower scoop on the SSRA at the track?
there is a definate gain in top end with the SSRA...
it's fun

Man i am dumb. yeah would would it give you any result on a freaking dyno. The car isnt moving. Hahaha
. I think i am going to try and make one out of stainless steal sheet metal. Does anyone have the dimentions of the ssra? If you have then i would be the happiest person ever. It would save me alot of trial and error.
Thanks guys

Re: build your own CAI?
here's my idea....
i'm making my cai myself using fiberglass. it'll take some work but you can make it as custom as needed and do some neat things.
think about it, it's not hard and way cheaper than most!
