brakes
For normal street use or drag strip duty, the stock brakes with better pads and good fluid will do just fine. I would suggest Hawk HPS pads and Motul 5.1 fluid.
The next step up, which won't shorten stopping distance much if any, but will give longer performance and repeatability before brake fade under road racing conditions where you are using the brakes hard and often would be the LG G-Stop kit with Z06 calipers. It is basically Z06 front brakes for your F-body. Still use good pads and fluid.
The next step up from that, and so close to the higher priced Baer and Brembo setups would be the Porsche Big Red kit from Prospeed.
No matter what you do stick to stock pads out back.

Because LS1 F-bodies have too much brake biad dialed into the ABS, and will axle hop under hard braking:

More rear brakes make it worse.
