Question Brake, service eng, and ABS light all on, and the TCS does not work. (99 T/A 6M)

When I turn the key to the run position or start it up, after approx 5 secs all these lights come on and stay on. Took it to the dealer for a diagnostic and they came up with faulty EBCM (electronic brake control module). They want $671.00 for the part. My question is, does anyone know where this is or what it looks like so I can get one from a salvage yard?

I had the same problem - Clean the wire connection on the ABS. It's on the right side as you're looking at the engine - U'll see the brake lines coming out of it. Pry off the plastic top cover then work the retaining clip out - The plug (about 12 wires) comes off.
All sorts of dirt/dust was the problem with mine - I used Brake-Clean to clean it off.
I also cleaned all the connections at the wheels and by the rear (third member)
I'd try that before I spent 675 bucks... Good Luck

$36.00, the cool thing is, after you get the diag. you can get it fixed anywhere and return with the receipt and they will clear the codes for free. They might be able to clear yours on the spot. Who knows?

Its the same with the ABS, you have to have a Tech II diag to diag these.
