"Boxed" suspension parts?

Has any body boxed their stock LCAs, panhard rod, or webbed their torque arm? I MAY go with an adjustable torque arm, but the other parts??........ it seems I could strengthen them considerably without spending more than $100. Who's dunnit....and do you have pics? What are the pitfalls? (if any)

Also considering tubular K-member. Who's been there............and who's done that?????? Talk about it if you have......thanks.

I believe that the slp suspension package comes with the stock lcas and panhard rod that have been boxed. Over at jegs you can pick up lakewood boxed lcas for $80, they're great lcas I'm running them on my car rigth now.

I appreciate the info....I did some pricing for the things I need to do it myself and learned how VERY liberal my $100 estimate was.....I should be able to do ALL the work for about $60. Thanks.

Fwiw, I've seen the slp suspension components and they are pretty nice. I'm sure you'll see a noticable improvement. The gauge of steel that the stock pieces are made of isn't thin at all, what makes them weak is the stamping method ie how they're not fully boxed. So boxing them can be worth while, also though does the 60 dollars include new bushings? You'll want to get your stock rubber ones out of there, if you want to see the full benefits.

I'm replacing ALL rubber bushings and mounts with polyurethane. The ~$60~ includes renting a welder and buying the steel stock needed for the job. I've got a lot of work I'll be doing when I get this project started....I can't wait for that 1st drive when it's all tuned and aligned!!!!!!!! I fully expect to run past the 400hp/tq threshold.
