BMR vs Spohn vs ???
BMR vs Spohn vs ???
I know many people swear by Spohn parts, other by BMR. Even some other by some other brands. I was planning on going with all Spohn suspension parts, I knew the price, then I realized how much money I have. It'd be cheaper to go with almost anything else. Is Spohn really that much better?
What do you chose for your suspension parts and why?

Being in the business I have the oppurtunity to use and evaluate a ton of suspension parts. Name it and I've seen it, and probably have an opinion.
That said I would trust Global West (www.globalwest.net) more than any other suspension company out there. The reasons:
* Quality is tops, very rarely see a defective part.
* They don't sell gimmicky stuff - you won't see GW parts offered in 5 different colors or finishes, they are all business .
* Some parts they won't sell. Even if there is demand, GW won't sell a part if they don't think it works (example- coilovers for fox body mustanges)
* A lot of their stuff is copied by other members of the aftermarket, like the LCA relocation brackets.
* Fitment is always perfect, their SFC's tuck up so well under the car you can't seem em without crawling underneith.
Things I would buy elsewhere for a street car:
Springs - its hard to beat the Eibach Pro-kit for a streeter; espically with Bilstien Shocks
Shock Tower Brace - Edelbrock 3 point for $120, you can't go wrong.

Initially I was intent on going with Spohn stuff, but the more I look at the prices, the more I'm turned away. I'd love to have it, but if xxxx's peice does the same thing for $75 less, then I'm sold.
I was attracted to BMR because of the prices, heard of GW before but didn't know much until now. Doesn't look too bad. Thanks Lowend.
Any other suggestions?

BMR All the way. Brett is an awesome guy and will stand behind his product 100%. There you actually talk with the guys that build the parts and do the R&D.
I have used all of his stuff on my car and love it. Check out his site, give him a call.
