I just got done pulling the heads off of my LS1 Camaro. Do these cars blow head gaskets often? #8 Cylinder was blew.

 

not that i know of i have about 6 buddies that have ls1 and believe me we drive them hard and none of us have blown a gasket yet. Most of us have about 40-60000 miles on them so they are no spring chickens either.....

 

not unless you overheat them... alot
