Best places for tires/wheels?
Thanks for everyone's input re: tire size conversions. Now, the next logical question is: where are the best places (price and selection-wise) to get the tires & wheels? Or, are they all pretty much the same price-wise? If that's the case, could somone please give some insight into what brand of tires are best for all-weather conditions and longevity?
RE: wheels: one-piece? two-piece? type of material they're made of that's best? lightest? strongest? You know, all the USUAL questions that fall under this realm of research!
Thanks once again.... I really appreciate the info from your experiences...
Regards,
Daryl

Yeah, I just checked out Discount Tire Direct's website. I saw the chrome ZR-1's. I agree... they are simple, clean, and consistent with the muscle-car attitude of the vehicle. A lot of the more "detailed, fancy" rims are eye-catchers at first, but I've been down that road before, and all they end up being is looking "too fad-ish" and a pain in the *** to clean every nook & cranny. Gets old fast...
I'm considering two options: (let me know whatcha think)
1. 275/18's on the back with 245/17's on front; or
2. 245/17's all the way around (skeptical that the backs would look wimpy given the width of the rear on the Z28).
