Exclamation best headers

I used to own a 95 Z and used Hooker LTs on them. How are the hooker headers for the LS1?

Are the shorties worthwhile or should I just get the LTs?

These LS1s are amazing! To run 12.9 with my older LT1 took everybolt on + 410 gears and awesome air. Just a lid/catback in the summer air I ran that.. on street tires!

the hookers for the LS1 are a very good header. they are an LT which is favorable for our cars and they come at a great price if you go directly through jet-hot. dont waste your time with shorties, they are virtually useless on our cars.

The Hooker headers are good but are designed to be an offroad header (no cats or emissions fittings). If you would like to run something with converters the SLP headers have been very popular and can be used with cats or the offroad pipes that we can supply. You'll see about 10hp from the shorty design and 25 from the long tubes.

Hope this helps,
Tom

I am going to go with Hooker LTs, Hooker off road Y-pipe, and Hooker cat back, with cutouts, or Mchord power plates.
