There have been a lot of post about this, but let’s get the actual numbers of the preferred exhaust.

Cool

Best as in...???

Anyway... I voted for Hooker. Good bang for the buck and sounds good, too.

Duals are the best, but of that group the GMMG is the best. I would not say any of them are bad, however.

I guess I will have to go with hooker. I live in phoenix; it doesnt snow, rain is a memory ... so I just can't see spending the extra $400 on a stainless steel exhaust. My vote would be for loudmouth ... but I intend on getting heads/cam some day, and I hear thats a bad idea for a daily driver who wants to hear ANYTHING.

What about Dynomouth ?? I feel DM is the best bang for the buck, runs 125 - 300 w/ parts and labor.. For example, my DM cost me $ 207 for install and new tips... Plus the DM in upper RPMs will be as loud as LM but at Idle to about 2500 rpms sounds excellent!! And if you decide to go w/ Heads, Cam and LT Headers w/ ORY, 18 " Bullet Muffler is better then using the 12" Bullet..

I had a flowmaster a/t catback, then the borla adjustable.... I hated the blowmaster, it sounded almost stock unless i reved to 5grand. the borla was great quality, but not much louder then the flowmaster and sounded a little better becaus it was a tad throatier. I didnt notice any difference in loudness or sound when adjusting the plates, i put in the smallest plate and then NO plate and couldnt tell a difference.. i felt adjusting them was a waste of time... Not $700 worth of catback in my opinion. I really liked the Borla tips though.... My LoudMouth owns both the flow and Borla sound wise... I also like it better then my friends Corsa. It will be close sound wise to the GMMG, i think overall the GMMG may be better quality wise, sound wise would be ones opinion and overall performance wise i hear the Loudmouth will outflow the GMMG.. I just didnt feel the GMMG is worth $700. Im very happy with my loud mouth. I probabily will not use anything else on an LS1... The only thing with the l/m, it sounds awsome dureing rev, but while the rev is winding down at the very tail end it may sound "air'ery". But its not bad.. I never heard Hooker and the dynomouth sounds good to....
