bc smoothies with 285 tires
I'm thinking about buying the 17x10 inch boyd coddington smoothie II rims on all 4 sides with 285/40/17 tires by Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. Two questions.
1. Could this cause clearance problems in the front and/or back?
2. When using this website http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
to find the difference in tire diameter, my above configuration is a half an inch more compared to stock diameter (16x8 and 245/50/16). It states my speed will actually be 1.4% faster than the speedometer. Will this be a problem?
