Re: Bassani Exhaust

I've heard nothing bad about their X-haust setup. (the catback, not the tru-dual), aside from the price.

Re: Bassani Exhaust

It should flow fine. For the most part, any catback is a matter of economics and personal preference.

I'm also positive that exhaust isn't just for an SS. A Z28, Formula, Trans-Am, or Firehawk all could run it. Even a 6 cyl f-body could.

Re: Bassani Exhaust

My dads got the Bassani Headers,X-pipe,and Cat Back on his 03 Cobra and it sounds soooooo good. I always thought Bassani was Ford only, I never knew they made systems for F-Bodys or any other GM vehicle.

Re: Bassani Exhaust

if you are refering to their tru-dual system, i have it on both of my cars. nice mellow tone. not much louder than the stock exhaust inside the car. it made 15rwhp more than the borla 3" catback i took off the wife's car.

sound byte from my 00 formula

sound byte from wife's 99 formula

the 00 formula has stock manifolds and cats
99 formula has bassani headers and at the time gutted cats.
