Bad gas mileage

Hey guys Im getting about 150-160 miles a tank out of my 02Z. Maybe thats normal just seems low to me. It has the mods in sig and is mostly pleasure driving around town. I get on it occassionally but not every stop light kinda thing. Any ideas on this? I'm thinking I may need a tune, it has a tune from previous owner, I dont remember what he used though.

That does seem low, even for the stall and gears in town. Do you have to burn that crappy gas formula like Chicago? What's your actual MPG?

I'd fill it up, fill it up again at about 70 miles with the same gas station/pump and see what it actually is.

I usually hit 1/8 between 180 and 200 with my 403, so you sound a little off.

I can see it getting that bad ''IF'' you're driving a loose converter and staying below 42mph all of the time.

Got it on the dyno. I had a fat fuel curve at wot and my knock sensor was retarding the timing. Hopefully Tuesday at the track I will see the improvement from tune.

Where's the knock coming from, false knock or real?

Post up the track numbers but if it's hot like it's been for us lately the numbers will be a little off.

He thought it was fasle knock something to do with the fat fuel curve. My best run last tues was 12.87 at 106.9 .060 RT and 1.807 60'. Now Im hoping for 12.5ish around 109-10 with the new tune and added power. Ill be back at the track Tues again. BTW I made 333hp 343tq on a mustang dyno.
