Is this bad?

I was working on the car and disconnected the IAT. When I was done, I forgot to reconect it. Well aparently I was driving it and while driving it must have scraped against the engine belt and was damaged. Well I tried to reconect it but it is too damaged to fit. Can I drive w/o it? How much is a replacement and where can I get one?

You can drive around without as needed, but I wouldn't do too much driving. Get it replaced so you don't cause anymore problems.

Should be able to get one at GM or a wrecking yard.

The part is only like $14 at GM.You should get it taken care of ASAP.Your engine will probably be in "loop" mode until the computer acn figure out what the intake air temp is at.I could be wrong, but I "think" that's what happens.Anybody care to correct me?

Now my Low Oil light came on, is this related to the IAT being broken?
