Welp, my car is getting towed back to the dealer ship again... (3rd time). The car lately has been running like poop. The shifter has felt absolutely horrible and really sloppy. It clucks in like every gear and the rear whines coming to a stop in neutral. Today i was in reverse coming out of my driveway, when CLUNK, 2 seconds later... CLUNK, and then again... CLUNK, this time it just stopped. I am on a hill going backwards without even pressing the brake and it just stops. Reverse totally locked up on me and i couldn't pull it out. Kind weird not rolling down a hill in reverse with the clutch pushed all the way in lol. So i turn the car off and i left it there. My dad came home and Ripped it out of reverse, put it in 1st and it whined going back up the small hill on my driveway. He then put it into reverse and it did the same thing! What a horrible sound standing next to the car and hearing it. Dad got out of the car, told me to take my **** out of it cuz i blew the tranny or rear or both. Rear has been blown twice already. Car only has 8800 miles on it. Its gone thru 2 rears and 1 set of front rotors (2nd set is basically gone, i get polsating). I personally think both the rear and tranny are gone this time. I def can't win with this car, my buddy told me its a lemon
, and he has a ford truck for christ sake lol. Thought i would share my pain with u guys, now i am strapped 2 my cavvy for awhile, our gm dealer works really slow

MUST POWERSHIFT lol. I can't help it, the sideways motion is so addicting. Nah but i really don't do it at all. People always tell me don't powershift... but i always say back the car was meant to be pushed it can handle it. Aparently i have a lemon.
I find it funny my cousin with a Type S rsx powershifts everywhere and the only thing that ever happened to him was 1st gear syncho... (he has had it for a year). ::sigh::

Dont beat on the trans and the rear end and it will not crap out on you......if you have been through 2 rear ends on less the 8000 miles the its your driving thats messing things up..your realy doing your self no good when you power shift....its the incorrect way to drive..
.....both of the f-bodys I drive are around 500rwhp....ones a little under and one is a little over that but I have never had a t-56 break and I have yet to kill my 10bolts even on Bfg drags...Im not saying that the 10 bolt will hold up forever...Im saying if you dont abuse it ,it will hold some good power..

Sounds to me that the car is being abused by you, but then again, I have never tried to destroy cars either!!! Hopefully you will learn to respect the car, because with the abuse you have been giving it has been biting you in the ***!! Sorry to sound like an *** hole but trust me, when you have to start paying for the repairs on your car or have to do all the work yourself, you will learn not to abuse the car...
What I am saying is still have fun with the car but keep it to once in a while especially when you are deciding to powershift!! Trust me you don't ever want to pull a ring and pinion w/ burnt Gear Oil, I have and that is why I guess I try to take care of my car and truck, because especially w/ my camaro being a daily driver..

and this is why all other teenagers get a bad name...... treat ur car with respect and it will treat you with respect. i refuse to powershift and always shift at 5500rpm when i race. i rather be a bit slower and be able to drive it everyday then try to go to its limits and having it in the dealer 24/7.

I totally agree with abusing your car but the stock rotors on these cars suck period. I don't drive my aggressively and had to have them turned at only 2500 miles. I have never taken the car to a track and don't drag the brakes.

Newsflash u are a kid and u make everyones insurance go up 2 just by driving... shut up. Let me know when u can keep that fast tsi undercontrol ok?
do i beat my car... to be honest not really. Its seen a few streetraces, VERY FEW burnouts, but an occasional powershift just to get the wheels moving. To be honest i kind of find the car slow. Which is why i am moding it as money comes in. I treat my car with prob the most respect anyone can give a car, ITs ALWAYS CLEAN, Always taken car of. I value my TA for every penny its worth and even more. Hell its my 2nd car right? (nova was the first). I find it funny everyone here can judge my driving habits cuz i occasionally powershift. Sounds kinda lame. And for rotors... stocks are junk, always been junk. I don't think i got a new set of rotors for my second pair, i think they where just cut and stuck back on, therefor explaining the short span they lasted. Am i hard on the breaks, yea when driving at a higher speed i slow fairly quickly BUt i mean thats nothing u all do right? Lets try and be more open minded and maybe explain the problem my tranny is having instead of tellin me useless crap that none of u can back up. THanks

to be honest with u i don't... If these cars can't handle a power shift here and there then i think that is very lame... saving for the 12 bolt has begun. And just for the record, My first rear blew at 500 miles. (i didn't even know what a powershift was).

i know i'm a kid still but u seem to act a bit younger and you really wanna bring in my talon in the little "fight"... bring ur nova out on the street and c wut my import can do. think about it for a second..... 20g turbo/720 injecotrs/FMIC that i had to take the safety crash bar out because it is 24 by 10.5 by 3/ built up engine with a multi layer HG strapped inbetween with ARP head bolts.......... o yeah, 26psi on 100 pump octane and about ready for a nice dyno tune. thats my fast car and this is the one i wanna keep reliable so i ask this, how many times has ur car been in the shop? mine is in for oil changes once every 2,000 miles and no other times. so back to the talon, come on big boy, its never been to the track and idk wut kinda tires are on it since i don't have a clue wut i got, do 555r's sound familiar? i can't keep it in a straight line so maybe they aren't that good of a tire, idk.
before you dog a 91 tsi awd thats not running at this minute look at ur car which is a tad bit newer
