Lightbulb a/f guage

on my 95 TA i did this in about an hour, i dont know if is the exact same on LS1, but i will soon find out because i sold my 95 and got a 99 LS1.

im sure you know how to mount the pod so i wont tell ya that, there is a power and a ground so just go to a good ground and 12V
then with the third wire got to the computer and find the purple wire that is the O2 sensor
i had a meter and stuck one prong into the purple wire at the o2 and then stuck the other prong in the purple wires at the computer when the meter said 0 i know these two were the same so i connected the wire from the guage to the wire at the computer

hope this helps

Thanks guys for replying to my thread.....especially this fast. I did notice that there were two different wires that were solid purple on the PCM. In reference to what you posted:

Do I have to tap into both of these wires? If so, which of the two purple wires do I tap them into. Could you please give me a detailed description of what wires I should tap into? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

First... Autometer A/F gauge = trash

Second, tap into your front, passenger side oxy sensor. You need to tap into the high signal wire (violet) not the low signal (off white). I'd suggest getting under your car and tracking the wires from the oxy sensor up to your PCM so you are sure you have the right wire. On my car, the bundle of wires that came from the oxy sensor only had two violet wires, one large, and one small. The large one goes to the starter so don't touch it. Tap into the smaller one.

Hook the signal wire off the gauge to this wire. For the gauge power, I just put a wire into the fuse box. For the ground, just find a suitable spot to bolt the wire to.
