Aren't SS's supposed to have a plaque showing build #?

Isn't there supposed to be a plaque on the dash or console somewhere showing what build # that particular car is?

I think the 1996 and 1997's did. The 98-02 do not, but i did order a engine plaque and the car number is on that.

Having Camaro SS on the dash is an option. That and two key rings are $50

Even the optional dash plaque didn't have the
build number on it. There are aftermarket places
than can make one for one once you confirm the
VIN with SLP, To the best of my knowledge the
only LS1 fbod with a build number plaque was the
99 aniversary T/A
