Just wondering if there is anything i need to know about getting an off road y-pipe. like anything extra id need to buy for it or any tips of swaping it out if its hard.thanks.

 

Do you have emissions inspections when getting the car tagged?
If so, your car will fail.

If you live in a state (like AR...) that doesn't have an inspection, then

 

yeah i live in MA, we have inspections. im not worried about that though, when i had my mustang i had a pro-chamber so when it came time for a new sticker id just switch pipes,kind of a pain but i didnt mind

 

You won't need anything special but it kinda makes the car sound like crap IMO. I have LTs, ORY and a hooker catback, it sounds alright but could be better. Where in MA are you? I"m around the Boston area.

 

i say don't bother with the orp...

had one on my car before the LTs....no gains to be felt and it pounded the **** out of the frame due to close clearances.

i had to install poly motor mounts to cure it.

the cats flow decent, and the ypipe isn't all that restrictive stock. unless your'e running some big power (in which case headers would be the logical step) don't bother.
