I am looking for acceleration rather than top end, but I think i'll go with the 3.73's because i have heard about realiability issues and fuel economy issues with 4.10's. many people say 3.73's are just perfect.

thanks for your help, oh and by the way, should i get jest the gears or the gears + the new installation kit (new bearings, ect) My car has 17500 mi on it.

as for 1/4 mile track, the 3.73 are better assuming you are sticking (get it) to 26" tires. An overall faster ET will result than with 4.10's.

I believe the TA cover is an excellent choice for the 10 bolt rear. I think the stock cover has more chance of leaking than a TA cover. If it does leak, toss the felt gasket and use some gooey stuff.

I love my 4.10's and I have not had any issues with my TA cover.
