Anyone running the Spintech Catback?

Spintech has a 3 inch cat back system on their site for LS1 F-Bodies, but i've never seen any pics of it on a car, or on their site even. If anyone has one coudl you please post some pics, and tell me how you like the sound?

Try doing a search on the web for mufflex. They make systems using spintechs. You can get it w/a flow or spintech in 3.5 or 4". I have the 4" w/spintech dual outlet muffler. Very smooth sounding, not raspy at all. Was relatively quiet until I got headers. It's still decently quiet under 2k rpm.

Re: Anyone running the Spintech Catback?

I've seen the Mufflex before, and thats seems to be all that came up when i did a search. But Spintech has thier own cat back listed on their site, for just under $400, so its a pretty good deal. Theres no pics on the site though, and i was wondering what it looked like.

Not that it helps, but Spintech makes me favorite exhaust on Mustangs.

They're systems for most cars look really nice from what I've seen. I have Spintech Pro-street mufflers on my mustang and it gets compliments a lot. Their customer service was awesome too and they seemed to know their stuff.

Ya, if you have $700 to blow on an catback alone. I heard one on a Vette, it just sounded odd to me.

For $700 I've gone headers all the way back with installation including high flow cats.

Corsa sounds like a v-6. Good for Lt-1s, sounds like crap on LS-1s in my humble opinion. Cool tips though. Corsa sounds good on vettes, it's a totally different sound-- almost italian sounding.

I have 2 1/2 pro street spintech exhaust w/x-pipe on my LT1 B body. Best sounding exhaust available for the B body It has a distinct tone thats noticably different from other Caprice and Impalas when I'm at a B body meet

Italians are the s**t, what can i say.....

Bout the system though i think i just saw one on an LT1, i could be wrong, the muffler looked like a box but it looked cool/different. It definitely sounded nice, he had LT's most likely, the car had to have 10k in mods, real nice car, but for having LT's it didn't sound raspy and it did sound like offroads too. Not sure how it would sound on an LS1.

well, to each his own.

Some people hate them. I personally admire the italians. It's hard to imagine people NOT liking lambos, and ferraris, etc, but I guess it's not for everyone.
