anyone put 245/45/17" on their SS or WS6?

just wondering if anyone has put 245/45/17 tires on their stock SS rims? Does it ride better now? do the tires spin too easy?

on the front end it would be good since you have less rolling resistance

Yes ... but then you wouldn't be asking the question about how easy the tires spin ....

I have 245/45/17 in front with 275/35/18s in the rear. It looks awesome. Get tons of compliments.

nah, you would only be able to tell if you were looking for it i bet

i'm goin with 245's for the front because of the less rolling resistance and they cost a good 50 less

It would help it the front because the car wouldn't pull so much on wavy pavment.

the only advantage to putting they on the back is you could rotate your tires.

they wouldn't look funny, the Z28s and new GTs have 245mm tires

I would notice, Z28's use a 245/50 on a 16 x 8 rim

On a 17 x 9 a 245 would have a 1 inch section width difference. The lower profile may hide the differnce a little but it is still there. Just like you can see the difference when a V6 has 235/55 when your used to seeing 245/50.

To each there own...........

does anyone have 245/45/17 all arond though, sounds like no one does.

I have 275/40/17" all around, I love they except for how much they pull the steering on crappy roads

I have had 3 4th gens and 4 3rd gens, the 245 tire doen't eliminate pull on rutty roads.
