Anyone have an idea what's wrong?

So, last night I hit a curb and did a 180 and hit it pretty hard on both the passenger-side wheels. Cracked the rims up, but they're still ok I think to drive on. Main thing though, whenever I brake now, the car shakes and makes a screeching noise. Anyone got a clue what I coulda done? I wanna keep this repair as cheap as possible

EDIT: Just drove it again and I realize that whenever I brake, I can feel the brake pedal pushing back and forth as the car shakes. I still haven't decided whether it's coming from the front or the back yet though. If I DID bend an axle though I pray it's the rear! That'll gimme an early excuse to go ahead and invest in a 12 bolt!

you may want to jack up that side of the car and check to see if the tires turn straight and no weaving back and forth. you could of bent the axle or something and now it is not straight.

It drives just fine though normally, it's only when I brake. So I'm still crossing my fingers that it's just a cracked rotor or something. I'd think with screwed suspension or a bent axle it would drive bad period, not just when braking.

I'm just curious as to the rationalization process you went through to come to the conclusion that driving on cracked rims is ok ???

I don't mean the main part of the rim's cracked, just the outer part around the tire is chipped up.

I think that your suspension is damaged pretty bad...i would jack it up and take a look at is...does braking time seem normal??

The brakes feel a tad lighter, and then of course they push back and forth when I brake.

Also, dealers blow! My front tire's leaking a bit, so I was gonna take it to Discount Tire to get it resealed, then I remembered that my car didn't come w/ a wheel lock key. So I took it to go get one, and they're like "We gotta cut off your old ones and install new ones, it'll be $115". $115?!?! I was like well why can't you just let me try a few other keys to get them off? They said no because they're packaged. Boo hoo. I think imma call back up there and ask if I can just find a package that works and buy the package w/out them cutting the damn things off. ****ers.

OK, whatever you hit... check your car before you drive it on the road....you probably bent some suspension components....get an alignment check, that will tell enough to determine if something serious is going on...
I do not believe that you can bend a brake rotor which would make your pedal feel just like you describe..... like I said "get it checked"
Wheel locks ? Took me 5 minutes with a big screwdriver and a hammer to get mine loose.... if you're careful you won't damage your rim...at least I didn't damage anything but the lock....

Alright, I got in an accident once going 100+. The car spun out and I hit a curb. Both wheels were cracked, the rear axle was bent and pushed a few inches to one side, and a front lower control arm was bent. That's all the damage that was done, I think the rear sway bar was bent too...... Take the car in and have it checked man, better safe than sorry.
