AKA Diablosport Predator. If its been used before you'll have to send it in and pay to have it reset. Make sure its for your year.

If its free, just sell it on ebay. They're not as good as a tune.

From what I hear they will still work on your car even if its flashed back to stock. The hypertech wont I had a hypertech and it screwed up my car so I had to get it flashed back to stock. I am going with the hp tunner lot better for the buck.

Right off Diablosport's website:
"Once the Predator is used on any vehicle, it locks itself to that vehicle and all the performance/parameter modifications can be applied only to that vehicle.
On other hand, for the diagnostics, Predator doesn't lock itself to any vehicle and you are free to use it on as many vehicles as you wish. "

If you're set on a handheld look at the Crane/Vinci tuner.

Take it if it's free, it'll still read/clear codes and show real time data.

I think its like the hypertech when it comes to locking. If you program your car back to the stock position then it can be used on a different car. Only guessing

For free I'd jump on it. As said above, you can still use it to pull/clear codes & read diagnostics as is. You can also send it to Diablo who will reset it for $75 if you want to use it to tune.
