Anyone ever had an LS1 intake manifold polished?

I love the look of Holleys polished intake manifold for the LS6. As the title states, anyone ever had their LS1 polished with a chrome finish?

Its a composite material (Plastic). You can sand it down and paint it.

The LS1 intake manifold is injection molded by BASF using their Ultramid A3HG7, a lightweight glass fiber reinforced nylon, supplied by Bosch I think as an assembly complete with the throttle body. From what I've seen on some show cars, it paints quite well.

The stock manifolds paint well but you'll need something like the Holley intake if you want it to shine. This intake is very noticeable when you pop the hood.

It can be used on the street without a problem. This intake also has an EGR hole for cars equipped with one.

you can get the plastic manifolds chrome plated if you look around the net enough for the people that do it.
