Whenever I have my cutout open and drive at low RPMs I have this really a nnoying rattling inside, it sounds like it's coming from my console. Was wondering if this happens to any of you. I was gonna take apart my console and maybe put some thin foam under there or something to absorb the plastic rattling if I can isolate the noise.

mine actually does. i think it's the y-pipe. you can have some extra hangers mounted to lessen the exhaust wiggle or just deal with it.

I get extreme rattles from my back hatch while running my catback. Only at low RPMs.

i've been wanting to buy a cutout for my ss but i've been thinking that my car would be way too loud with the loudmouth already on the car...does anybody have the cutout with the loudmouth??

I don't see the point to a cut out when you allready have a loudmouth on the car IMO...
I have a Dr. Gas true dual exhaust setup that dumps off right before the axel...this has caused alot of rattles to start in my car unfortunately.
No SFC's YET by the way on the car.

Mine does it too. Low rpm either slow acceleration or coasting deceleration. VERY annoying and very noticeable. I think its both resonation and Y-pipe rattle because it does it when the cutout is closed too. I can live with it till I buy headers and cat back.

The only rattling I get is from the change in my ash tray. Well that and my I-pipe sometimes when at idle. The shop that put on my cat back did not do the best job.
