Anybody used or heard the Texas rumbler cat back?

I just installed this on my car. I have stock manifold and cats. The car sounds like a 6 cyl w/ open ex. I hear this is like the loud mouth ex. Some body said I could add a dynomax muffler on this and would sound alot better. If I did this, would this help-hert performance.

I guess they sound different on all cars.

I installed SLP's Y-Pipe with mine and it sounds very mannered when you don't get on it, but when you do, it lets you know the car means business.

Sound aside, I KNOW this is a very well-flowing exhaust because:

1. I get to my redline much quicker
2. I can tell by its sound on the highway

My dyno numbers in my sig. are without the Rumbler, but I'm betting I'll put between 305-310 to the wheels when I dyno again.

Yes, I have the stock manifolds/headers.

It's a waste of money in my opinion. I feel that different exhausts sound the way they do because they're designed to do that. The Rumbler has no baffles and is basically a straight-through system with a bullet muffler. This exhaust was designed to give the car power gains without much regard to having a distinctive/trademark sound.

A 6cy????? WTF??? I have it and its bad ***. It was actually slightly louder when I first had it installed. Now its kind of mellowing out. Have someone drive it up and down the street while you listen. Its god damn amazing! The sound inside is nothing compared to howit sounds outside while someone gets on it.

My bad man, I'm on the west coast of FL. I used to live near Orlando, but moved here for a job after college.

Like I said before, it's a great exhaust system. I spent months determining which one was right for my car and the Rumbler met all the criteria. I think it sounds great inside the car, but I need to find a friend I trust to drive it up and down the street so I can hear it from someone else's point of view.

The TSP Rumbler cat-back is designed to be a free-flowing exhaust that still exits at the rear of the car. The muffler used in our system is an 18" Dynomax bullet muffler, so I wouldn't recommend buying another muffler. The system is 20 lb. lighter than a traditional cat-back exhaust with the muffler at the rear, it is better-flowing, and it does not have near as much resonance when compared to a Loud Mouth. The Loud Mouth does not have a muffler; it is just a resonator without any baffles at all. It literally makes the exhaust LOUDER.

The Rumbler cat-back is hard to beat for the $274.99 price.
