Are any years of the LS1 better then another?
Re: Are any years of the LS1 better then another?
No i put some of the pace setters in on my friends WS6, like a +2 gain on dyno, and yes they went in easy. No difference at track. They are good for the LT1. When I had my LT1, they also went in easy, and gained +13 on the dyno. So like i said. I suppose somebody is gonna tell me the SLP LT's are a great header too right?

You must have had a bad choke somewhere in your exhaust, because regardless of how crappy any LT header is made, they'll all flow SOOOO much better than stock, and that will make more than 2 hp on any dyno.... you must've had one of your tail pipes clogged somehow... that just makes no sense.
I bought a pair of SLP's headers. I got em for only 200 bucks, so it was worth it.

I don't own an LS1 car, but from what I have seen around this site is that the 01, and 02's are trapping the highest and layin down the best dyno numbers. But like mentioned before, buy the car that is a good deal, good condition, etc. good luck
