Nice times man!
What did you car run stock?
I have a 2001 Z28, auto with 2.73s.
I ran 13.573 @ 103.18 in stock form.
I'm just starting to mod now, and haven't been back to the dragstrip yet.

Nick you need to go get it dynoed and see how much hp it makes.

Having driven it I know the 2.73 benifits from two things. 1) The launch, the car is easy to tach up and launch. The 2.73 is not as prone to spin as a 3.23/3.42.
And secondly the gearing allows the car to be at the top of second at the traps. Thats the most optimum place to be at top rpm. Whare the 3.23 cars are just starting 3rd and 3.42 M6's are just hitting 4th. Both slightly off the sweet rpm range.
Lastly I think your car is light, being a hardtop with cloth interior. Then removing the front sway bar, rear seats, and exhaust from the collector back probably saved 50lbs.
And hey you can't beat the miledge and the punch from the freeway!

Thats nuts dude. You can see my list of mods on my Z28 below and I only ran a 13.2 @108.6. Youve gotta have some kind of factory auto freak.

Do you have video or timeslip? I have a hard time believeing this...But if its true well then cool...I know someone who has a stock WS6 and ran 12.5 with just drag radials, but thats a 6spd car so the huge clutch drop was the factor..

I don't know about your A4 2.73 car, but my A4 2.73 car shifts to third gear right around 92-95mph. If he's trapping 111, he's in 3rd gear unless he swapped out his 2nd transmission gear ratio, bumped the rev limiter or changed tire sizes...

With his 235/55 tires, he's only going to get 3-4 more mph per gear than my 245/50's due to his increased tire height.

Yes it is true there are plenty of guys in the MI forum who have seen it go mid 12's, some have even driven it to mid 12's.

If you call N20 a bolt on then yes...I gotcha

but if not then you will lay the smack down on me.

I do have some pretty impressive times though for my bolt ons.
I turned a 13.19 @ 105 with just K&N , Lid , and Dynomouth exhaust.This was infact in 39 degree weather also.

My other major feat was recorded in early september...

I sprayed the car at www.darlingtoninternationaldragway
and ran the times in the sig.
I actually turned a 1.69 60' on the stock GSCs.
Now that was incredible, because I ran door to door with a 11.80 mustang with Slicks. He couldnt believe I was on street tires, especially since he only cut a 1.67 60' on his stickies!

To this day Ive only managed mid 1.7 short times and seems to be getting worse due to tire wear.

My 2.73 gears are the main reason I dont need slicks when spraying.

Later bro and ...
Awesome times you got

I'm less impressed by the et/mph, than I am by the 60' on a stock TC.

But if you hadn't caveated the 2.73gears, I have you beat by almost a half a second 12.12@112

How the heck did you run a 1.69 60' on stock GSC's? ? ?

The best I can turn is a 2.1

First off it helps to have the following...

Super Track prep that will pull your shoes off.
Experienced driver.
Automatics kick azz at the strip.
low stall TQ converter accompanied by 2.73 gears.
and almost 500 hp really helps

My Camaro has always impressed me on the stock radials.
I have many friends that run consistant low 1.7 short times on thier GSCs.
They have heads& cam packages also.

Later
