Another 'What will it run' thread......

Not sure if it's the right place for this thread, but i'll give it a shot.

Car: 2000 Camaro SS (auto) VERT!

Mods: Lid, K&N, Smooth Bellows, LS6 intake, Hooker LT's, no cats (hooker Y), Hooker 3" catback, 3.42 gears

I know its pretty standard ( the mods), but verts run a little different, so I was just curious. I have the car now, but its mostly stock save for the 3.42's. The other mods are pretty usual but are coming soon.

What should that combo run right there, 1/4 and on the dyno?

How much of a difference (1/4 and dyno) would a Fuddle 2800-3000 stall make?

Thanks guys,

I hope this isn't too annoying (Do a search!) but I couldn't find exactly what I needed.

If this thread has to be moved, mods, go for it....

a good stall can knock off a full second with stickies.most guys take off .5-.7 if they know how to drive it.

Yup, a stall, and 4.10's and stickies have been known to jerk the wheels up an inch or two on an mostly stock car!

Vert....heavier... I say a 13.6 -13.8. the stall converter could take up to .5 second off your time. Just get a good 60' and you should see a mid 13.

gee-golly thanks for narrowing it down!

I'd say even slower if you break something durring the run. speaking of which, does anyone have a link to that guy in a CRX who threw a reverse shift at like 100mph? I saw it once at a friend's and havent been able to find it since.

Never saw that, but I have seen a Ferrari run a 21 sec 1/4. Puffed a big cloud of smoke off the line.

If you had a stall converter it would run 12's.

You should have no problems running low low 13's.
