Every once in a while, while i'm driving, the lights seem to dim for a split second. When that happens, the alternator meter nears the middle point and jumps back to where it's supposed to be.

My V6 did the exact same thing and I am just wondering if that's normal with Camaros in general.

 

My 2000 SS just got a new altenator.... had the lights dimming and all but it was a lot closer to the red line....all this at idle.... I dont know what to tell you other then you might need a new one.
